Teaching Philosophy

Teaching has always been my passion.Being a teacher is not an easy job.Educating students with the right knowledge is the main aim of our career. And so I believe that if teaching is a passion for us,therefore the responsibilities will be carried out well.

Education is for all. Each and every student has the right of gaining knowledge and experiences through education. As for me there are a few principals that guide me and also reminds me of my job as an educator.Firstly would be to have good relationship with students in order to create a conducive teaching and learning environment.I believe that when teachers and students communicate well,it creates an awareness among the students and a feeling of being respected by their teachers. When this awareness and friendly environment is being created, there is a harmonious flow of communication and everyone is able to experience a good teaching and learning environment. When students feel this way, they are more willing to participate in class discussions by sharing ideas and asking questions, both of the teacher and of their classmates. When students are actively involved in their learning in this way, they become engaged and invested in the content. When students are invested in content, they become invested in their learning.Students achieve much more when they are invested in their own learning than when they feel disconnected from the classroom.

Secondly would be being able to recognize students having problems in their learning process is equally important.By this way, students would feel that their teachers are approachable and are able to discuss matters that might affect their learning process. Being able to handle students psychologically is an added advantage as teachers are able to gain the students participation and attention.

Thirdly would be having patience in teaching being a good role model to the students.I believe that not only do we deliver our knowledge to the students but to also instill good values in students.I believe a successful person is not only measured or defined by his academic achievement but also good values and virtues that he carries with him.
Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education. Martin Luther King,Jr.

As an overview, giving my very best to my students in terms of knowledge and also good values would be a great satisfaction for me.

Here are a few clips of my students during my class.
